About Our Chapter
The SMART CATS are a local chapter of the national organization of Special Military
Active and Retired Travelers (SMART), our members are located throughout Virginia
and we muster(camp out) monthly on the first full weekend of the month (March -
December), at various campgrounds to socialize and enjoy each others friendship. We
are a family oriented group with over 40 members that have a great time, great food,
card games as well as board games, tours and a business meeting at each camp out. If
you are active, retired, or honorable discharged military, and enjoy camping, come join
us for a weekend were you can observe first hand the fun that can be had with group
camping. Remember you don't need a fancy rig even a Pop-up will do come join
